Hosts can manage speakers and listeners, handle speaker requests, use room chat, close rooms, and control the room experience. Admins can configure availability, limits, scheduling, access policies, paid duration packages, ticketed access options, landing sections, and related icons.

For platforms that want more community interaction without forcing every session into video, Audio Rooms add a flexible new way to bring creators and audiences together.

A cleaner admin experience

The admin sidebar has been improved with clearer grouping, search, active states, counters, keyboard support, persistent desktop collapse, and compact icon-only mode. Priority shortcuts help admins reach setup, revenue, users, and safety areas faster.

Dashboard empty states were also refined so new installations look intentional before subscription or paid-content activity exists.

Better chat, notifications, and uploads

Chat now supports a more polished voice-message workflow with browser microphone recording, upload validation, localized recorder states, and in-conversation playback. Notifications were also refined with clearer activity rows, better filters, unread handling, and improved empty states.

A centralized upload validator strengthens file handling by checking extension and detected MIME type before accepting uploads on important media surfaces.

Improved customer-facing content formatting

Product detail pages and suggested product cards now preserve creator-entered paragraphs and line breaks while keeping link highlighting and output escaping intact. This makes product information easier to read without weakening output safety.

Before updating

This package is intended for sites already running Dizzy v5.4.3. If your installation is older than v5.4.3, apply earlier update packages in order before installing v5.4.4.

Before updating, back up your files and database, import the included v5.4.4 SQL update, upload the updated files, and keep your active includes/connect.php file unchanged unless you intentionally need to update your database connection settings.
