Dizzy v5.4.4: More Control, Safer Operations, and Better Creator Workflows
Dizzy v5.4.4 improves payment readiness, security, compliance, Audio Rooms, notifications, uploads, and admin workflows for sites updating from v5.4.3.
Dizzy v5.4.4 is a practical upgrade for site owners who want more control over daily platform operations. This release focuses on the areas that usually create the most pressure as a creator platform grows: payment readiness, financial visibility, security posture, compliance workflows, Audio Rooms, notifications, uploads, and admin usability.
The goal is simple: help administrators see what needs attention faster, reduce avoidable setup mistakes, and give users a smoother experience across creator monetization and support workflows.
What changed in v5.4.4?
This update is not only a list of new files. It is a stronger operating layer for Dizzy. Admins now have more dedicated screens, clearer readiness checks, better reporting, and improved control over features that directly affect platform reliability.
More confidence around payments and reports
v5.4.4 improves the way admins review payment configuration, gateway readiness, wallet flows, subscriptions, payout methods, and webhook status. Financial Reports are also easier to scan with date, status, and gateway context, plus clearer transaction rows and export-ready data.
For a live platform, this matters because payment questions should not turn into guesswork. Admins need to know what is configured, what is active, and what still needs attention before users are affected.
Security and compliance become easier to manage
The new Security Center gives administrators a clearer view of production-readiness checks such as CSRF coverage, upload validation, secure-cookie posture, protected storage posture, and webhook health.
The Compliance Center organizes tax readiness, invoice readiness, payment reconciliation, payout audit visibility, and recent compliance activity into a more focused admin workflow. This helps site owners stay organized as the platform handles more users, payments, and creator activity.
Audio Rooms add a new engagement layer
Audio Rooms are one of the biggest additions in this release. They create a dedicated voice-room experience separate from one-to-one calls and live streams.
Hosts can manage speakers and listeners, handle speaker requests, use room chat, close rooms, and control the room experience. Admins can configure availability, limits, scheduling, access policies, paid duration packages, ticketed access options, landing sections, and related icons.
For platforms that want more community interaction without forcing every session into video, Audio Rooms add a flexible new way to bring creators and audiences together.
A cleaner admin experience
The admin sidebar has been improved with clearer grouping, search, active states, counters, keyboard support, persistent desktop collapse, and compact icon-only mode. Priority shortcuts help admins reach setup, revenue, users, and safety areas faster.
Dashboard empty states were also refined so new installations look intentional before subscription or paid-content activity exists.
Better chat, notifications, and uploads
Chat now supports a more polished voice-message workflow with browser microphone recording, upload validation, localized recorder states, and in-conversation playback. Notifications were also refined with clearer activity rows, better filters, unread handling, and improved empty states.
A centralized upload validator strengthens file handling by checking extension and detected MIME type before accepting uploads on important media surfaces.
Improved customer-facing content formatting
Product detail pages and suggested product cards now preserve creator-entered paragraphs and line breaks while keeping link highlighting and output escaping intact. This makes product information easier to read without weakening output safety.
Before updating
This package is intended for sites already running Dizzy v5.4.3. If your installation is older than v5.4.3, apply earlier update packages in order before installing v5.4.4.
Before updating, back up your files and database, import the included v5.4.4 SQL update, upload the updated files, and keep your active includes/connect.php file unchanged unless you intentionally need to update your database connection settings.
Why this release matters
Dizzy v5.4.4 is about reducing operational uncertainty. It gives administrators better visibility, better controls, and a clearer path to manage a creator platform with more confidence.
If you are already running Dizzy v5.4.3, this update gives you a stronger foundation for payments, reporting, security, compliance, Audio Rooms, notifications, uploads, and day-to-day administration.
